Exhibition of the art project “A Dog’s Life”

At the Gallery Kresija in Ljubljana we had an art exhibition together with Vladimir Leben, displaying an embroidered art installation: A Dog’s Life. Three large embroidered paintings, accompanied by a unique embroidered bench, were on display for a full month.
We prepared the project in collaboration with Vladimir Leben for our Ercigoj Art project, and the production of the entire installation took over a year of work and over 5000 work hours.

We also had a technological presentation during the exhibition, explaining the process of collaboration with the artist and the technological intricacies of the design and production process.

The exhibition was opened with a short presentation by Mateja Veble, and the writer Jurij Hudolin presented a poem, written for the author of the exhibited art, Vladimir Leben.

Many art lovers gathered at the grand opening of the exhibition, inspired by the original motifs of Leben’s artwork, and excited by the new unique visual medium of embroidery.
